Richard Kemp MA, MBA
An expert in leadership facilitation and learning design, Richard has served as Director of Executive Education and Henley Business School, as Co-Director of The Open University MBA Executive Experience and as the leadership learning consultant to such cutting edge organisations as Greenpeace. As such, Richard has many years’ experience ensuring executive education reflects market place needs while challenging expectations around thought leadership, collaborative research, faculty and practitioner expertise.
Richard has long career experience of leading sales and marketing teams in over 40 countries and raising organisational reputation in established and new market environments. His career includes strategic change roles for a variety of global businesses including Pearson and The Financial Times group. Richard’s leadership learning clients include IBM, Wipro, Logica, HCL, Royal Bank of Scotland, Ernst and Young, the Singapore Government, global NGOs, many of the UK’s global publishers, the EU Commission and a very wide variety of professional bodies and associations across Asia and Europe.
Kate is a Visiting Fellow at Henley Business School, where she worked for 15 years as Head of Company Programmes and Lead Client Director. Kate studied at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, as a Fulbright Scholar. Kate’s role as Learning Development Director with ICI (Imperial Chemical Industries) initiated her lifelong belief that the success of organisations starts with the ability of its leadership to transform the business they are managing in a way that not only contributes to the organisation but also inspires its people. Kate’s clients include Lloyds/HBOS, Aegon, Astra Zeneca, Sony, Hitachi, Vodafone, the UK charity NSPCC, most U.K. Government Departments and more recently the Government of the United Arab Emirates.
Mark Hull, BSc (Econ) MBA
Mark is a strategist at Oxford Brookes University and other Oxford-based business schools where he specialises in corporate strategy, economics, and finance. Mark has experience as a UK government economist on micro- and macro-issues, a corporate strategist, the CEO of a medium-sized manufacturing company, and senior consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers in their global utilities practice.
Gail has been Senior Director of two national UK charities and has a background in international marketing, business strategy and contract negotiation for the commercial business sector. Gail has ten years experience using Emotional Intelligence techniques with organisations and groups. Gail focuses on innovative ways for organisations to explore leadership issues and foster creative problem-solving. Her clients include health authorities, local government and NGOs.
Peter is an expert in leadership skills around presentation, negotiation, influencing, business pitching and personal gravitas. Peter is an accountant by training. Peter is an associate at Henley Business School and Warwick Business School and speaks at conferences in Europe, Russia, the Middle East, Asia and America. Peter’s clients include Marks & Spencer, Fujitsu, Motorola, ING, T Mobile and the UK’s National Health Service among others.
June has over twenty years experience in senior management positions with major UK, US and Asia headquartered publishing houses. A strong leader herself with a powerful reputation for raising sales, profitability and achieving sustainable organisational growth through organisation-wide transformation, June currently focuses her effort on assisting organisational leaders with strategic development of their businesses, change management and human capital development.
Peter has extensive experience of working in European and Asian business communities with an especial focus on Italy, Malaysia, Singapore and the UK. Peter’s background is in sales with a focus on professional development. Peter has led large teams of professionals drawn from a wide range of nationalities and backgrounds. He has designed highly acclaimed teacher training programmes for the Ministry of Education in Malaysia. Peter has a track record of high performance in very competitive sales environments.
Susan has a long career working with internationally focused entrepreneurial businesses based in Asia, the US and Europe. Susan is an expert in complex project management, intellectual property rights, channel management, market segmentation, production and design management.
Roger Martin-Fagg is an economist turned strategist. Roger began his career in the New Zealand Treasury, then moved into Airline Business Planning before joining Henley Management College in 1987. Roger has worked with the Bank of England, three of the major UK clearing banks, advised a major London recording studio for 15 years, and regularly talks to SME owners in the UK and Europe about economic trends. He is a visiting fellow to Ashridge, Warwick and Henley business schools. Roger’s book ‘Making Sense of the Economy’ is in its fourth reprint and his quarterly economic update is sent to 1200 SMEs.
Roland is a specialist in the PR, new media and integrated communications business field. Roland has worked with the major retail brands in Scandinavia to create point of contact information shows, presentations and experiences to engage, inform and educate consumers. Roland’s long career includes major roles in Coca Cola and IBM in the US. Roland’s clients include Pressbyrån Direct Marketing; 7-Eleven, SAS, Tetra Pak, DHL and ABB among others.
